Oct 8, 2019 · Captain Traunt Farming. Captain Traunt is another popular destination for Legendary farming. This is another one that's better in Mayhem mode, but can be used at lower levels if you just want some items for leveling. He can be found in Athenas across the long bridge.
Holy heck I think I finally figured out Captain Traunt. He was kicking my tail up and down the area, but I think I found a good spot + strat to take him down fairly easily. In fact, at one point I wasn't even getting hit--might have been luck or a glitch? Might be useful when farming him. Curious if this works for anyone else.Captain Haunt uses a huge shielded Maliwan suit and is very similar to the fights against Captain Traunt and Commander Traunt in the story. The fight is composed of 3 phases where boss will periodically fire rocket-propelled pumpkins at your location and enemies spawn in the arena to kill you.
